The Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) at UFMG announces the call for applications for postdoctoral fellows to work at the IEAT Darcy Ribeiro Chair: Sovereignty, Education and Politics.
To apply, candidates must hold a doctorate from a recognized national institution or from a foreign institution with an equivalent degree, and must have defended their doctoral thesis between 2020 and 2025 in one of the following areas: Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, History, Philosophy, Education, Economics, Literary Studies, Law or related areas. In addition, candidates must demonstrate academic performance and scientific production related to the theme of the Chair, be available to dedicate themselves exclusively to postdoctoral activities and be fluent in English and Spanish.
The scholarship will be valid from August 2025 to July 2026, with full-time dedication at the IEAT/UFMG headquarters, on the Pampulha campus of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte.
Application period: May 28 to June 20, 2025
Announcement of valid applications: June 24, 2025.
Announcement of list of candidates selected for interviews: June 27, 2025.
Interviews: July 2 and 3, 2025.
Final result: July 7, 2025.
