Patricia Maria Kauark Leite is an associate professor at the Department of Philosophy at UFMG. She completed a degree in Physics at UFMG (1983), Master's in Philosophy from UFMG (1993), PhD in Epistemology from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris (2004) and postdoctoral from Stanford University. She has experience in the area of Philosophy, with emphasis on Epistemology, working mainly on the following subjects: philosophy of science, transcendental philosophy and philosophy of quantum mechanics. She received the Louis Liard Prize 2012, granted by the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences of France, for her book "Théorie quantique et philosophie transcendentantale: dialogues possibles" (Hermann, 2012).

Armando da Silva Cunha Júnior holds a degree in Pharmacy, Industry modality, from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), a master's degree (D.E.A.) in Pharmacotechnie et Biopharmacie (1995) and a doctorate in Sciences Pharmaceutiques (1997) from the Université de Paris XI (Paris- Sud). He carried out a postdoctoral internship at Unit 598 of the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM U598-Maladies oculaires et innovations therapêutiques), Paris, France (2004/05).

He is currently Full Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Products at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Coordinator of the Inovasense Research Group – Pharmaceutical Research and Innovation. He was coordinator of the Pharmacy Area at CAPES in the four-year period 2014/17 and Deputy Coordinator of the Pharmacy Area at CAPES in the four-year period 2018/22. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (ABCF) and was its President in 2013.

Professor Estevam Barbosa de Las Casas completed his degree in Civil Engineering at UFMG, a master's degree at PUC-Rio, and a doctorate in 1988 at Purdue University, in the United States, in Structures. He was a visiting professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, from 1995 to 1996. He is currently a professor at the Department of Structural Engineering at UFMG. He works in the areas of Computational Mechanics and Biomechanics, advising undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral students in the areas of Engineering and Health, the latter in the Structural Engineering and Mechanics courses.

Santuza Maria Ribeiro Teixeira is full professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology at UFMG. She received a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Brasília (1982), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the University of Brasília (1985) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Universite de Lausanne, Switzerland (1990). She held a postdoctoral internship at the University of Iowa (1991-1996) and a sabbatical at the University of Maryland (2008), in the United States. She is group leader at INCT Vacinas and sub-coordinator of the Vaccine Technology Center (CTVacinas). She is a Full Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and CNPq Level 1B Productivity Researcher. She was a researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (International Research Scholar), Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology at UFMG, President of the Brazilian Society of Protozoology (SBPz), Resident Professor at the Institute for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) at UFMG, coordinator of the CT -Vaccines and member of the Special Monitoring Commission for the 2011-2020 CAPES PNPG.

He is a full professor at the School of Letters at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), where he has been working since 1996, both in undergraduate programs and in the Postgraduate Program in Literature: Literary Studies. He is a researcher of CNPq (1D category) and FAPEMIG, and currently, he is developing the project "Concepts of Work, Literary Spaces, and Transartistic Spaces." He holds a Doctorate in Comparative Literature (1996), a Master's degree in Brazilian Literature (1992), and a Full Degree in English and Literatures (1989) and Portuguese and Literatures (1988) from UFMG. He leads the research group "Literary and Transdisciplinary Spaces," registered in the CNPq Groups Directory. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of São Paulo (2004-2005), the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2010-2011), and the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais - CEFET/MG (2019). An essayist and fiction writer, he has published, among others, the books "Teorias do Espaço Literário" (Finalist for the Jabuti Award, literary theory/criticism category); "Manhã do Brasil" (Finalist for the Portugal Telecom Prize and Finalist for the São Paulo Literature Prize); "Chuva de Letras" (João-de-Barro National Literature Prize, Finalist for the Jabuti Award, Book selected for the PNBE - National School Library Program, MEC); "Grafias da Identidade: Literatura Contemporânea e Imaginário Nacional" (Finalist for the Jabuti Award, literary theory/criticism category); "Um Olho de Vidro: A Narrativa de Sérgio Sant'Anna" (City of Belo Horizonte National Literature Prize, essay category); "Saber de Pedra: O Livro das Estátuas" (Vitae Arts Grant: literature); "Canção de Amor para João Gilberto Noll"; "Tablados: Livro de Livros."
