David Vlahov is Director of the Center for Urban Epidemiological Studies at the New York Academy of Medicine, Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, also in New York. He is an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the School of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He is also Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor of Health Sciences at Weill Cornell University School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at Mt. Sinai and Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Yeshiva University. doctor Vlahov is a graduate and Master of Nursing from the University of Maryland, having earned her Ph.D. in epidemiology at the School of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He has extensive experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing epidemiological studies of infectious diseases, illegal drug use, mental health, and social epidemiology.
