Serge Gruzinski is a French historian, paleographer trained at the École de Chartes, professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, researcher at the Center National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), curator of the Quai Branly Museum in Paris.
He is the author of several articles and essays, as well as the following works with a Brazilian translation: The Colonization of the Imaginary: Indigenous Societies and Westernization in Spanish Mexico, sécs. XVI-XVIII; The War of Images: from Christopher Columbus to Blade Runner(1492-2019); The Mixed Thought. His book: As Quatro Partes do Mundo was published by Editora da UFMG.
