Christian du Tertre is professor of economics at LADYSS – Laboratoire Dynamiques Sociales et recomposition des Espaces at Diderot University – Paris VII and Technical Director of Laboratoire d’Intervention et de Recherche ATEMIS. He is one of the initiators of the functionality and cooperation economy in France, developed mainly from the experience of the resumption of development in the northern region of France in the 1990s, after the decline of the mining and steel industry.
