Bernarda Marconetto has a degree in Anthropological Sciences, guidance in Archeology from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of La Plata (Argentina); Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the National University of Córdoba, responsible for the Archeology and Nature course and Director of the Doctorate in Anthropological Sciences at the same University. Researcher at CONICET, where she works on issues related to climate and nature in the southern Andes. She directs the Núcleo Natureza-Cultura (N-NAC) at the Instituto de Antropologia de Córdoba. Her work focuses on the links between humans and elements of nature (especially plants and meteorological phenomena) from archaeological and ethnographic perspectives. Along these lines, she has worked in Patagonia and the Argentine Northwest, and is currently working in the Theban necropolis of Luxor, Egypt.
