In 2022, the IEAT Annual Seminar took place on June 28th and 29th. On the first day, we had the conference “A vida Selvagem” by professor Ailton Krenak, from the Cátedras CALAS-IEAT program, and the presentation of the results of the “Possible scenarios project for science and technology for 2040”, an initiative launched by UFMG through the FUNDEP, IEAT and Chie Integrates. On the 29th, the results of the 2021 IEAT resident program were presented, as well as the progress of the Institute’s research groups. That same day, resident books and books from the IEAT Collection were launched, namely: Janela da Escuta: the teenage self-expert and the weaving of a tailor-made network, organized by former resident professor Cristiane Grillo, from the Department of Pediatrics the Faculty of Medicine; Figures of Experience, by professor Patricia Franca-Huchet, from the Drawing Department of the School of Fine Arts; and Quantum Theory and Transcendental Philosophy: possible dialogues, by professor Patrícia Kauark, from the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy of Human Sciences, also a former resident of the Institute.

Books by former IEAT residents were also presented, namely: Psychoanalysis in decolonial ellipse and the world and the rest of the world: psychoanalytic antitheses and Psychoanalysis in Decolonial Elipse, by professor Andréa Máris Campos Guerra; and Os Mineiros and the circulation of Science: Panorama of Scientific Magazines in the State of Minas Gerais, by professor Sérgio Dias Cirino, both professors at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences (FAFICH) at UFMG; Society of Disinformation and Infodemic, co-organized by professor Geane Alzamora, from the Department of Communication at FAFICH; Ergativity and alignment systems in indigenous languages, by professor Fábio Bonfim Duarte, from the Faculty of Arts; Informational revolution and a new law: reflections from Luciano Floridi, co-organized by professor Brunello Souza Stancioli, Department of Law and Civil and Commercial Procedure at the Faculty of Law of UFMG; and Introduction to Academic Life II: Teacher’s Manual, by Professor Marcelo Galuppo, from the Department of Labor Law and Introduction to the Study of Law, from the Faculty of Law of UFMG.
