II Information and Imaginary Colloquium, held by GEDII – Information and Imaginary Studies Office of ECI/UFMG.

At this event we will talk about the dimensions of dis(in)formation, combined with debates about memetics, politics and informational practices. We have prepared a special schedule, with all the dates, times, table titles, as well as all the big names that will be present on the 23rd and 24th of November.

Formed by renowned professionals from Information Science, Communication, Sociology and Cultural Production, the opening debate features Rafael Capurro (Institut Für Digitale Ethik), Marco Schneider (IBICT/UFF), Arthur Bezerra (IBICT/UFRJ).

The main theme will be debates on ethics, politics and information, taking into account the interrelationships between these themes, taking into account the importance of studies in the area of Information Science and in human, social and applied sciences as a whole.
