Artificial intelligence has been increasingly present in human life, helping people with simple tasks, such as searching for products or services on the internet, defining the best route for a trip based on real-time traffic data or improving the performance of robots that perform human tasks. However, the use of artificial intelligence has been the subject of controversy, mainly due to fears that decisions made by intelligent technologies could cause problems in the economy, the job market and individual rights, with an impact on various spheres of social life.

A hybrid event, with in-person and remote participation, the series will consist of lectures and round tables, with internationally renowned experts in the areas of artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences. The initiative aims to debate the advancement of artificial intelligence in the contemporary world and the implications of its use in the most diverse areas, such as health, economy, work, among others.
