Theoretical and methodological concepts and challenges related to transdisciplinarity in interface with the frontiers of knowledge will be addressed in the discipline Topics in Transdisciplinary Studies – Frontiers of knowledge: in search of transdisciplinarity, organized by the Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT) at UFMG.

Aimed at undergraduate and graduate students at UFMG, the course will be taught by IEAT resident professors and guests who work on research projects linked to the Capes-PrInt Program at UFMG. Classes will take place from August 24 to December 14, always on Wednesdays, from 2 pm to 5:30 pm, at a location to be defined.

The discipline will reflect on research carried out and in progress at UFMG from four thematic axes – Sustainability, risk management and governance; New technologies; Health and well-being and Human Rights. These themes make up the matrix of the institutional project for the internationalization of graduate studies at UFMG. The proposal is to provide undergraduate and graduate students the possibility of debating them since these four themes are presented as contemporary challenges inherent to different areas of knowledge.
