The Research Group Biotechnologies and Regulations: the frontiers of the human, integrated to the Center for the Study of Contemporary Thought (NEPC), established joint work with IEAT between 2010 and 2014.

The group develops ongoing research on the descriptive aspects of natural processes and biotechnological applications (task of the sciences and bioengineering), in addition to the normative or regulatory aspects (task of law and ethics). The interdisciplinary nature of the research stands out, allowing the interaction of researchers from different areas of philosophy and the humanities.
