According to Professor Eduardo Tarazona Santos, in the webinar, the speaker will discuss the importance of drug response genetics in terms of the diversity of native and mixed-race populations in Latin America, the experience of the Iberoamerican Pharmacogenetic Network as a producer of knowledge and its transfer for health systems, experience of international scientific cooperation involving countries such as Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil and others in Latin America, and on the recent experience of MEDEA, a Personalized Medicine project implemented in Extremadura (Spain) as an innovation experience between academia, the public health system and the private sector.
