Master in Social Memory and Cultural Heritage from the Federal University of Pelotas, with a sandwich period at the University of Buenos Aires. Graduated in History from the Federal University of Paraíba. Master in Museology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She worked at the Casa do Patrimônio de João Pessoa, on the board of the Memory Preservation Center, in coordinating historical and museological research for the implementation of the Memorial da Luta pela Justiça, at the Memorial da Resistance of São Paulo, at the Paraíba Democracy Memorial, at the Peasant Leagues and Struggles Memorial among other museum and historical research institutions.
