Professor John McCombie has a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom), a Master’s degree in Geography from McMaster Univesity (Canada) and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom). McCombie has an extensive list of contributions not only in economics, but in several related areas such as: economic growth, finance and currency, regional dynamics and cluster policies in developing countries, regional integration, international financial crisis, technical progress and investment and spatial diffusion of innovations.
