Professor Marcelo Mortensen Wanderley is among the most renowned, respected and productive researchers dedicated to the study of musical gesture in the international scientific environment. His doctorate was defended at the most important European institution dedicated to the coordinated study of music and acoustics – IRCAM, Paris, and for ten years he has worked at McGill University (Montreal, Canada), where he directs an important music technology center “Input Devices and Music Interaction Laboratory”.
