The urban demonstrations that took place throughout Brazil in June 2013 marked Brazilian history as the largest demonstration in this first quarter of the 21st century. Initially motivated by the rejection of the increase in fares, the agendas escalated in a chaotic manner throughout the country, producing a series of effects and developments, of ethical, aesthetic and, above all, political orders, sometimes contradictory and paradoxical.

To debate this event that turns 10 years old, the IEAT Cosmópolis: meta-method research group promoted, in June, the Brazil Seminar, demonstrations June 2013: cities, politics, event. The seminar took place in two stages, with a cycle of online lectures, which took place between the 14th and 21st of June, and a series of hybrid tables, on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June, in the Auditorium of the School of Architecture of UFMG. The conferences were broadcast on the Cosmópolis research group channel on YouTube.
