The webinar sought to assess and compare the impacts of international health phenomena and processes on society. The debate was mediated by the Deputy Director of International Relations at UFMG, Professor Dawisson Belém Lopes. Participating in the debates were Ulysses Panisset, a member of the WHO Technical-Scientific Research Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health, and debaters Deisy Ventura, President of the Brazilian Association of International Relations, and Cristina Alvim, Coordinator of the Coronavirus Committee at UFMG.

The event is a partnership of the UFMG International Relations Board with the Institute of Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT), the UFMG Faculty of Medicine, and the UFMG Committee to Combat the New Coronavirus.
