RIGHT TO TRUTH AND MEMORY

The project aims to study the period of validity of the military regime in Brazil. Its objective: to build, based on this study, a narrative of a historiographical nature in an interactive environment capable of a dual approach: focusing on the procedures for breaking the rule of law and the constitution of state repression structures within the Republic; to look into the creation and exercise of practices of resistance and opposition to the military regime produced by groups and political forces originating in Brazilian society. The construction of a historiographical narrative with interactive technology fulfills two important tasks in the execution of this project: on the one hand, it is about encouraging a transversal and multiple reading, aimed at a non-specialized public and stimulating them to produce their own pathways for obtaining information and content. But, on the other hand, it is also about producing a permanent virtual database on the period of validity of the military regime in Brazil. Or, better said, it is about building an archive, an open device for generating knowledge and producing new writings of history, to be developed with advanced technology in areas related to interactive media.
