Aimed at Geography students and teachers, the project encourages schools and students to act actively in identifying and solving problems in their communities and promoting effective local territorial citizenship. In the 2021/2022 edition, more than forty schools participated in the project in Portugal.

According to Professor Sérgio Claudino, the project is very complete from an educational point of view, as it promotes the critical observation of the local reality, encourages dialogue between younger people and the population and focuses on the development of concrete measures capable of impacting the local communities. At the conference, Professor Sérgio Claudino will present more details about the project, highlighting how the initiative focuses on the development of a prospective vision and attitudes of citizen participation among its participants.

Emerged in Portugal, the project Nós Propomos! began its internationalization in 2014, precisely in Brazil. Currently, the project is also implemented in the following countries: Spain, Mozambique, Laos, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. More information can be obtained on the website.
